As your order of your temporary number plates will be processed after receipt of payment, we offer
you different quick and simple payment options in order to be able to process your order on time -
You can choose between effecting payment by PayPal or by credit card. The credit card payments are
processed by Stripe. We recommend to choose one of these two options.
If you do not have the possibility to use one of the two above recommended options, you can also
effect payment by bank transfer. To do so, please send us an email by indicating your order number -
we will let you know how to proceed. Please note that the registration and shipment of your number
plates will be carried out after the due amount will be credited to our bank account which can take
up to 5 working days. Depending on the conditions of your bank, you might also use a real-time bank
transfer. Please send us a confirmation of your bank after effecting payment via email in any case
when paying by bank transfer.
The registered temporary number plates are shipped by express delivery always.
Our experience of many years has shown that DHL Express and TNT work very well. We might also
offer further options of express delivery services in the future.
Please note that the validity of your temporary number plates always starts one day prior to the
desired date of delivery of the plates. As in some rare cases a delay in delivery might occur, we
recommend to not choose the day of your planned road trip as date of delivery for your number
plates. Instead, in your schedules, you should include one or two days between receipt of your
number plates and your planned road trip in order to have some buffer time.
You should also have in mind the bank holidays and the total period of validity of the plates of 5
calendar days starting from the date of registration. As we are legally obliged to carry out the
registration of your number plates before we are allowed to produce and ship them, the validity of
your plates will start on the day of registration already. Therefore you will receive number plates
with less time of validity if you choose a delivery date just after a bank holiday. In this case, we would
need to carry out the registration at least two working days prior to the desired delivery date. If, for
example, you would choose a Tuesday as your preferred delivery day with the preceding Monday
being a bank holiday, we would need to carry out the registration on the preceding Friday already
which means that the validity of your number plates would end on this very Tuesday already - you
would only be allowed to use your plates on this one day.
We offer express delivery on Saturdays to delivery addresses within Germany only. Please note that
we cannot give you a 100% guarantee that your number plates will arrive as planned always since the
express shipping companies themselves are not able to promise a 100% punctuality for all of their
shipments (think of not predictable traffic jams for instance).
You will receive your shipment tracking number via email upon successful registration of your
number plates so that you will be up to date regarding the status of your shipment at any time.
If you choose a German delivery address (e.g. car dealer ́s office), your temporary number plates will
most probably be delivered between 7:30 am and 12:30 pm. Please make sure that there will be any
person at the address of delivery during this period of time since the express delivery driver will
absolutely need a signature in any case. If you choose a European delivery address outside Germany,
in almost all cases the number plates will be delivered in the course of the desired delivery day by
evening at the latest. In bigger cities your plates will probably arrive by 12 pm already. However,
please have in mind that express delivery time to remote areas, especially to islands, can take several
days more! If you ́re not sure, please send us an email with the desired delivery address including the
post code so that we could check the regular period of delivery to your specific delivery address for
you before you place your order.
As mentioned previously, in some rare cases a delay in planned delivery time might occur. Please
have a look at our general terms and conditions for further information regarding delayed shipments.
